Create this mural in 5 simple steps

Follow the steps, take your time, and discover how much fun it is to create something unique yourself.

1: Decide on the composition

Divide the wall into 4 equal parts by drawing a horizontal and a vertical line from the measured centre point.

2: Draw the circle

Hammer a nail into the centre of the wall and determine the radius of the circle. Use the string-and-nail technique and draw the circle with your pastel chalk.

3: Paint the colored areas

First, paint the left-hand area in color 282, extending slightly beyond the chalk line of the circle. Then paint the top-right area in 505, the bottom-left area in 505 and the bottom-right area in 592.

Tip: Use the masking tape technique for clean, precise lines.

4: Painting the circle

Paint the left-hand half of the circle in 299 and the right-hand half in 318. For a smooth curve, use the string-and-nail technique with a brush orcurved tape.

5: Assessing the final result

Step back and take a critical look at your mural one last time. Touch up where necessary. Then arrange your furniture in the desired positions and enjoy your creation.
