You'll need these materials

Amsterdam Creative Wall Paint
Paint roller
Flat brush
Paint tray
Pastel chalk
Optional for larger walls: measuring tape, level, stepladder or step stool, and curved painter's tap

Prepare your wall

Surface: Make sure the wall is clean, dry, and smooth.
Planning: Measure the available space and determine the position of the various organic shapes.
Color selection: If desired, create color swatches (e.g., A4 size) and tape them to the wall to see how light and space affect the colors.

Follow the steps, take your time, and discover how much fun it is to create something unique yourself.

1: Sketch the outlines of the leaf shapes

Using pastel chalk, draw the organic leaf shapes directly onto the wall. Work from top to bottom and keep the lines loose and flowing; this will serve as your guide for the later sections.

2: Fill the first area with yellow

Using a flat brush and, if desired, a roller, paint the first leaf shape in Yellow Ochre and Naples Yellow Green, staying exactly within the sketched lines. Use even strokes.

3: Paint the areas

Mix the different colors according to the example or your own judgment, and paint the respective color areas from light to dark. Make sure they blend well. You can do this by painting the darker color slightly over the edge of the lighter color.

4: Paint the details

Use Nickel Titanium Yellow for smaller dot-shaped accents and work out fine details with a thinner brush. For the purplish accents, mix quinacridone rose and brilliant blue deep.

5: Evaluate the final result

Step back and take another critical look at your mural. Touch up where necessary. Then place your furniture in the desired spots and enjoy your creation.
