When I start a new mural, I first look at what the space offers me. The shapes, colors and areas of light already present become the foundation for an abstract game that unfolds as I work.
In this kitchen I respond to the bright red countertop, the bold blue of the cabinets and the shifting light across the wall. With simple tools like a tray or a piece of cardboard from my studio, I create spontaneous templates that let me experiment freely. By moving shapes around and adding new color fields, a composition slowly appears that carries both calm and energy.
I look for clarity, tension and balance while leaving room for intuition and surprise. In this way the wall gradually becomes a piece that connects seamlessly with the space around it.
