What started as endlessly drawing as a child grew into a life where art took an increasingly central place. I spent many years artistically fueled within the museum world - as a curator, educator, and project manager. But my heart quickly shifted toward creating myself. There’s nothing more beautiful than holding a brush in your hand and a palette full of paint in front of you.
SOFT BLENDING FOR CALM AND FLOW
I approach a mural by letting colors gently move into each other, creating soft and natural transitions across the wall. Instead of sharp edges, I focus on blending tones so they feel connected, allowing the composition to develop in a calm and intuitive way.
As the colors merge, subtle shifts begin to appear. Some areas feel lighter and more open, while others bring slightly deeper tones, creating a quiet sense of depth without disrupting the overall harmony. The movement stays fluid, giving the wall a soft and balanced rhythm.
For me, it’s about simplicity and feeling. By working with a carefully chosen palette and allowing each transition to happen gradually, the result becomes light, atmospheric, and easy to live with. A mural that brings calm, clarity, and a sense of ease into the space
