Materials & Tools That Make It Even Easier.

When you start working with the Designer Kit, you already get the essentials: a precise brush, Soft Pastel, rollers, and paint trays. Super convenient. Make sure you have a few extra items at home too. Think of a degreaser to clean your wall, or floor protection to keep your space tidy. And what’s the real must‑have? Tape.

Good tape is the difference between “meh” and “wow.”

Crisp Lines With the Right Tape Technique?

Each Design Kit comes with its own painting instructions and that means it also needs its own type of tape. It’s always smart to have tape at home anyway. Even if it’s just to hang up the poster! Curious which tape you’ll need? We’ve listed it for you per design.

Bloom Flow

  • No tape needed.

Crane Rise

  • Use 19 mm painter’s tape for the thin, clean lines.
  • For the more curved parts of the composition, you can use curved tape.

Floral Harmony

  • Painter’s tape is helpful for the vase shape, but not required.

Symphony Shapes

  • Curved tape is ideal for round, flowing shapes.
  • Use straight painter’s tape for the more geometric parts.

Crisp Lines With the Right Tape Technique

Want clean, sharp lines without paint bleeding? This is the simplest, smartest, and most reliable tape hack for your wall design.

  • Apply your tape carefully and press the edges down firmly.
  • Paint a thin layer of your base color (the color already on your wall) over the edge of the tape.
  • Let it dry, or use a hairdryer if you want to keep going.
  • Only then apply your new color.

Why does this work so well?
If there are tiny gaps under the tape, the base color will “bleed” in first. It seals the edge and prevents your new color from creeping underneath. Anything that does seep through is the same color as your wall — completely invisible.
